Our facility is almost completely auto-sufficient with regard to energy consumption.

We are not connected to the public water supply but instead have several wells with potable water, which is distributed throughout the property.  Water is a precious resource and as such should be conserved.  We therefore request that guests are careful to avoid water waste, especially during the dry season.

The new apartments are all equipped with roof-mounted solar panels.  These solar panels provide the majority of the energy consumed for the entire facility.  In the new apartments, only electrical equipment is used. In the older apartments gas is still being used, but also here we will increasingly refer to electric equipment to make as much use as possible of our ecological energy sources.
Additionally, the solar energy also provides all of the hot water used in the bar and restaurant.

80% of the food used in the restaurant and sold in the mini market come from our farm.  These products are all grown naturally without chemicals.

Our dream is to transform the entire facility into a real “green farm”.
